Quiet Morning-Ephraim

A rare opportunity! This piece was painted on location in Ephraim, Wisconsin, during the 2025 Door County Plein Air Festival. This is always the first painting I do each year, and this is the first time in 18 years that the painting is still available after the festival ended! It's the iconic view from the public beach and includes the twin church steeples, the fire station, Wilson's, the Town Hall, and the flag poles along the shoreline. I never get tired of painting this scene as it's different every time. The water may be calm or rough, the light and clouds are always different and some years there are more boats, other years none.
