Country Garden

This piece was painted during the 2025 Door County Plein Air Festival in Door County, Wisconsin. This barn is actually home to Woodwalk Gallery. The silo has become completely covered with ivy now. The gardens were recently replanted with native species of plants, so I did take the liberty of embellishing them somewhat. It was an overcast day, which intensified the colors and added a moody, mysterious feeling to the painting.
