Happy Spring!
Hello from a (finally!) warm Nebraska! My favorite time of year...the garden is coming back to life, trees are budding out, and plein air painting season is about to begin. This is a season of rebirth and renewal for me personally as well. I'm eight weeks out from my second total knee replacement and although recovery has been slower this time than last, every day is better than the last. I'm looking forward to finally getting back to the easel and sharing new work with you!
The painting above, "Hope Springs Eternal," was painted in my back yard a couple of years ago. It reminds me of this quote: "Spring...is far more than just a changing of seasons; it's a rebirth of the spirit." This painting is available...click on the image for more information.
On April 20th, the Ralston Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring it's annual Wine Walk. Many local businesses are participating, including our gallery and A Flower Basket (which shares our building). Sample wines and snacks at each business! Hours are 4 to 7pm and tickets are required.
